Plugins, Costumes, Props, Skyhooks, woo!

I’m currently messing around with different plugins for the site. I never realized how complicated something meant to make your life easier can be! While there are so many awesome ones out there, there are also so many that simply won’t work and I can’t understand why for the life of me. I follow the documentation, look at the demos on the websites, install the code like I see, and nothing! Is this just a streak of bad luck with bad apps or am I doing something wrong? Usually savvy-me is struggling with code. Hah, now that’s funny.

In other news, I’m working on a few costume projects at the moment. For one, I sewed the entire jacket, lined and everything, from scratch (with the help of a pattern, of course). For another, I sewed an entire lined dress and will be sewing gloves and a hat, as well as putting together some prop headphones. For the last two, I’ll be putting together pieces and modding things, as well as building props (a gun and wings). Pretty crazy, right? I absolutely love building props, so I’m not complaining.

P.S. I ordered a Skyhook finally, but it was $54, so I’m going to protect it like it’s a baby. Anyone touches it? Well, I’ll be sure to make them pay for a new one. (:
